Story
Early life
Her life began as a simple owner of a hotel where she lived an average life. It was not until a robbery that left her dead. From there she was sent directly to Inuzuri. She had to deal with multiple problems there. She had heard about Soul Reapers and wanted to become one so she had left to the Shinō Academy where had trained to become a full fledged soul reaper and defend souls from hollows. She had graduated from the Academy in a five year time period.

Life as soul reaper
She was placed in squad six upon her graduation and was an unseated officer. Over time she had fought many hollows and usually won. She did face a few hollows that had given her a hard fight and one that came close to defeating her though with the help of her allies from her squad she had manged to defeat the powerful hollow. The reason it was so strong was because it had taken the powers from other hollows and was close to becoming a menos. Uyei increased her training so she could become stronger. She had her first run in with a quincy and had learned to dislike them because of the fact that they mess with balance of souls going to soul society.

Seated Officer
Later she had been moved to squad two because of her change in fighting style over the years. She had changed it once she had gained her shikai placing her in 7th seat of Division 2 . Her abilities continued to grow over the course of her life and began to work in secret on mastering her bankai. She was at one time forced to team up with a vizard though she disliked vizard for the fact that they have the powers of hollows making them renegades she manged to accomplish the goal of defeating Gillian they had to defeat. Her many battles and combat experience had led her to become a vice captain of Division 2

Becoming captain
She continued her training to master her bankai. Once she later learned to use a good number of kido attacks without the incantation though it was only the lower numbered ones ranging up to 55 in both attack and restraining kido. She increased her abilities and continued her training so she could become a captain. Though she was not interested in the rushing it. She had been a vice captain for at least one hundred and seventy years. Once her bankai was completed she was recommended for the position of captain. Once she was given the rank captain she continued doing her duty and commands Division 2.


Fighting Style:
Her fighting style consists of her using quick strikes and a close range and attacking with kido from afar. With her shunpo she combines this with quick striking power to make each blow more dangerous then the last. She can use some kidou without the incantation though for the stronger ones it is still required.

Uyei was walking around thinking to herself, as she closed her eyes to think for a moment. She had a calm look on her face while she was relaxing. She laid her head back and had rested her hands behind her head, as she began to hum for a moment. She looked to see that other members of her squad were at hard work while she was doing nothing. It was not until one of the unseated officers come into the room did she move to a sitting position. "yes " she asked.

The seated officer seemed out of breath though, as he almost collapsed. "there is an important meeting for you miss Asagi" he replied, as he lead her to the meeting room.

Uyei nodded ansd followed him towards the meeting with three other captains present. She took a seat and waited for a moment to hear what the meeting was about. They had been discussing what to do about the quincy problem. Quincy were killing and destroying the hollows and not purifying them like soul reapers did. meaning that quincy brought ruin to the balance of life and death. That was the reason Uyei disliked the quincy.
